New to QNX

Hi. I recently downloaded QNX RTP 6.10 and installed it. When I rebooted I
got the following message (which hung my machine):

/.diskroot file for root not found on any filesystem.
Starting with safe mode
Unable to locate devc-con

Now, the qnx knowledgebase provides a solution to this very problem: First,
I was to make sure my hard drive was set to Primary Master; it was. If that
didn’t work I was to boot into QNX, press the space bar for options, and
select F2 (to scan for EIDE devices, I believe). Now, after I pressed the
space bar I noticed that I was NOT offered an F2 option, and none of the
other options described scanning for EIDE devices, either.

So, if anyone out there has any idea of how I can fix this I would greatly
appreciate it. I can’t wait to try QNX out!

Thanks,
JST

I like you installed QNX RTP 6.10 in windows and struck the same problem as
you.
I discovered that disableing Gateway GoBack and QNX worked fine
So if you have a GoBack type program you need to disable it then you should
be able to launch QNX

Hope this helps
