Problem with Connection sharing HELP ME PLEASE!

I’ve got two personal computers: one connected to the internet with an ADSL
modem (mounting win 98) and the other connected to the first with an
ethernet controller (mounting QNX). The Problem is how to configure QNX’s
Network Option in order to share the connection (With win 98 this is really
simple and I know how to do but don’t know how with QNX).
Thank you very much for your help bye.

In order for this to work, you must have some kind of
router software running on Win98. I’ve heard rumors
that it comes with Win98, but I’ve yet to hear of
someone actually getting it to work. The documentation
on that software should tell you whether you assign
a fixed IP to QNX or use DHCP.

It should work right out of the box. However I’m not sure if Win98 has
sharing
(I’m sure WinMe has it).

If it doesn’t work, there could be some issue with your hardware or a
compatibility
problem. What are the result of:

ls /dev/io-net
ifconfig en0

\

ls /dev/io-net/
gives you:
ip0 ip_ppp … etc.
ifconfig en0: says that the en0 device doesn’t exist
