My phdialer won't dial :(

Hi everyone

I can’t make my phdialer to connect to the Internet
provider. I still can surf with the voyager thru
the proxy server, but I’d prefer to use my local
modem.
And I’m still reading the news with MS Outlook
Express because I don’t know how to do it
in QNX 6.1.

Some of the phlip settings are:

Type: Modem (Serial)
Device: /dev/ser3
Login Type: Automatic (PAP/CHAP)
Baud Rate: 38400

Here’s exactly what phdialer says:

Opening device ‘/dev/ser3’
Initializing modem
ATZ

ok
ATM0

ok
ATZ

ok
Dialing 80w5953800…
ATDT80w5953800


connect 28800/arq/v34/lapm/v42bis

You are connecting to a broken ISP. Everyone here knows that ‘cityline’
sucks :wink:

  1. get fixed version of pppd at http://developers.qnx.com/Fixes/
  2. use manual/scripting authentitication.
  3. use qnx.org.ru forum :wink:
