Hello,
I have several questions about QNX6 on Sony505DL SuperSlim Notebook-
- Graphics: QNX6 supports intel 82810 or 82815 graphics, anyone know when
to find graphics support for 830M?
- Network: It is an Intel PRO/100 VE adapter, I tried to drive it up with
eepro and speedo in vain. Both said that the device could not be found.
These two share objects are the two only Intel Netwrok adapters; driver. Who
knows which driver is for Intel PRO/100 VE?
- CD-ROM: CD-RW/DVD is supported with Sony505DL. It looks that the CD-RW is
connected via 1394. So 1394 should be setup first. Who knows if the steps to
set up 1394?
- Additional PC Card: My CNet PC card works well with QNX4. For QNX4
Pcmcia.generic and PcmciaLaunch are the utilities to drive it up. With QNX6,
these two should be responding to devp-pccard and pccard-launch. The
devp-pccard is executed by system at startup; I executed the pccard-lauch as
is exampled (pccard-launch ‘0x600, io-net -dne2000 -pqnet ioport=0x200
irq=5’ &). There is no response after running the pccad-launch. I tried to
re-inserted the card several times, which might be working with IBM NB,
still no response.
Thanks.
Well network is fixed with speedo from beta6.2.
