Hi.

I have a QNX 4.25 node running in 16 bits mode, qhen tinit run login
login say “on: Exec format Error”.

Run “login” in 16 bits mode ?

Do you mean that Slib32 is not loaded?

I think that the error would be “Permission denied” if you try to run
a 32 bit prog without Slib32 - but I’m not 100% sure.

If Slib32 is loaded then I would guess that the arguments for tinit are
not correct or whatever is being tried is trashed.

If you can not login but can modify /etc/config/sysinit.X, then add
ksh as the last line in sysinit. Reboot and you will now have a root
prompt which will allow you to experiment.
