Any ideas on why the mount and df commands would lock up? I’m assuming some
mounted device has locked up causing mount/df to lockup, but I can’t think
of what device since the hard drive and CDROM are working fine.

QNX 4 or QNX 6?
Likely they are blocked on a server that isn’t responding quickly.
Try a sin/pidin from another terminal, and look at who they’re blocked
on to start…

Doh, man I’m rusty at this QNX stuff. I’ve been stuck in Solaris/AIX for a
year and keep thinking in monolithic kernel terms. Of course I can check to
see if the comman is blocked on a user level driver
Glad to be back into QNX, even if only part time.

It’s just a flesh wound.
