here is a problem for u to solve…i am a new user of qnx and it is
my first job assignment,so i thought it is better to get acqauinted
with the environment so i started to play around with the photon
gui…in the process i changed the resulution of my moonitor from the
default one to a better one,expecting it to be fine as it is in
windows.but first when i clicked on apply, the screen flickered took
some time and got back again but the screen resolution didnt seem to
improove,then i thought i may be messeing it and not decided to
experiment any more so clicked the done but …from that moment the
photon might have crashed and isnt working only the non gui
environment is working,so if any of u guys have had the problemn
before.and hopefully solved it somehow without reinstalling the qnx
pls help me frm my boss.
help will be highly appreciated.
note: the system has good configuration with 768 ram .may be 8mb
graphics card or 4 mb.
From the system console, i.e. not in Photon,
try starting Photon with “ph -s”, without
the quotes. This should start Photon in
safe mode, where you can run “phgrafx” and
reset you graphic driver settings.
