Unable to access my CDR and DVD-ROM

I just installed QNX 6.2 and I’m not able to read from my DVD and CD

There are on the second IDE port

The first one is a SONY CD-RW CRX120E master
The second is a PIONER DVD-ROM DVD-105 slave

When QNX start the package manager freeze if those drive are connected
If if try to access the fs folder, the filemanager freeze and the OS became
very unstable and sometime crash

I try a different configuration and that’s even worst, after the devb-EIDE
the system hang

IDE0 HD1 master
IDE0 PIONER DVD-ROM DVD-105 slave
IDE1 HD2 master
IDE1 SONY CD-RW CRX120E slave

The strange thing is QNX don’t seem to have problem accessing those drive
during the installation

Probably because it doesn’t use DMA. Try disabling DMA.

Actualy I just set the option Boot to plug&play os to yes in the BIOS and it
solve the problem

perhaps it was an IRQ conflict

That’s strange because usually that option must be disabled.
