Beginner's reference for QNX device drivers?

It looks like I’ll have to write my own for these DAQ and counter-timer
cards. I have the memory maps for the cards, just need to know how to
write the drivers in QNX.

Should I use QNX 4 or 6?

Thanks,
Jason

Doesn’t matter to me, I sell books for both :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
I’d go with QNX 6 though, it’s a lot easier.

Easier?
To sell the book or write the driver :slight_smile:

Thanks …I needed that one, it’s been hectic here today.

To sell the book; the QNX 4 books are buried in the back room :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

(You’re welcome! :slight_smile:)

Jason,

I have been using digital input/output and counter/timer cards in QNX4,
however I just access the hardware inside the program application. I am not
using any specific driver.
