phICQ problems on QNX 6.2

Hi,

I’ve got some problems when using PhICQ on QNX 6.2,
and it’s not quite clear where the point is, maybe some of you could help.
First of all, the messages I send while replying
or just writing to people in my contact list,
the messages simply don’t reach them.
So actually I can get the messages, but can’t send them:(.
And it does not belong whether the box
“send through server” (or smth.) in preference is checked or not.

Another thing is that the refresh of the info
of the newly added buddy to the contact list is very slow,
sometimes user info gets refreshed after an hour or two,
sometimes doesn’t get refreshed at all:).

Are those known phICQ problems, or
could it be the problem with our LAN’s gateway/router?
We have dynamic IPs, from WinNT domain and DHCP server.
Or are those the problems of the server *.mirabilis.com:4000?
Because with MS Windows ICQ clients on the same machines
everything is ok (but using login.icq.com:5190).

TIA,
FeX

There have been changes to the ICQ protocol and PhICQ really doesn’t work
anymore. The only alternative currently is to use Gaim (with XPhoton). You
can get this from the 3rd Party Disc from qdn.qnx.com.
