Driver for IDE based flash

Hi,
I am experiencing problems with IDE based flash(Disk on chip)disk.I
think it is using regular eide driver for qnx on 6.1.Whenever i try to untar
a huge file(Around 30 MB) It times out and is not able to extract the files
onto the flash.I was wondering if anybody faced this problem.The disk i am
using is IFM-401(96 MB) From ICP electronics Inc.Any Help is greatly
appreciated.
