Any QNX support planned for IBMs new low cost PowerPC Linux

IBM has announced a variety of PowerPC systems that it is gearing up to
support both AIX and Linux. Their goals include a desktop system below the
3,500 USD range.

See http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,3959,1197450,00.asp for details.

This looks like a great platform for QNX. I assume that the PowerPC is much
better at context switching than the x86 is. One would think that this
would be a good/better platform for QNX.

Cheers

Looks decent (at least their next gen board), but will they really be able to
deliver anything close to the cost performance ratio that IBM can (I’m not
doubting, just asking) ?

I dunno. The 600Mhz G3 version is >$400USD. Not bad really. And I hear
they are planning on moving to the 970 early next year.
