QNX 6.3 USB transfer rates

I tested a Maxtor 300 GB USB 2.0 drive on my pentium system and seem to be getting transfer rates of 3 MB/sec. This is considerably slower than the ‘theoretical’ 34 MB/sec. I am using the -ehci.so driver. Is this typical for QNX?

For USB HD probably so yes.
