netinfo assistance

I don’t know what this means could someone tell me if these are good/bad
possible causes and solutions etc?

On a two node network, from netinfo:
Date Net (Nid|Status) Code Description
07:53:28 1 0050DA C321C7 ( 58) NET ( nm) netmap msg: physical nid
07:53:28 1 0050DA C31742 ( 58) NET ( nm) netmap msg: physical nid

07:53:29 1 Status 0 ( 44) NET ( rx) possible duplicate vid
sequence number

Then repeating 72times:
08:15:42 0 Status 2 ( 62) Net ( tx) no brouter node to this
logical nid
08:15:42 0 Status 2 ( 7) NET ( tx) failed (vc_attach ctrl pkt)

08:16:55 1 Status 0 ( 44) NET ( rx) possible duplicate vid

Thanks,

You probably have mixed the columns in the netmap file.

In the node id column you have enter the lan and in the lan
column you have enter the node.

the no brouter node message means it is trying to reach
a node via another lan, since you say this a two node
network that very unlikely

My netmap is the same on both nodes:
1 1 xxxxxxxx

1st col’n is Node ID , second col’ is Network ID.

And yes it is an isolated lan with just the 2 machines QNX 4.25d , 3com905’s ,
100mbs hub.

I’m baffle Ken. However the 15 CRC error is odd. The alignment error I

If you swap the cards do the CRC and aligment problem follow the card.

200 run times errors, can be modified with option -e o Net.
I think the buffer is FIFO.

The hub is full duplex/100Mbs. I also wiggled the connectors and the links dropped
so I’m going to replace the cables and then see what netinfo shows. Funny - I
checked them before on another problem and they were fine so I din’t check them on
this problem. I hate getting bitten by hardware problems.
