Hello I’m new to qnx. How can I use samba under qnx ? I downloaded new
sources and tried compiling. But how do I ? Do I habve to use gcc or can I
use wcc ?

It would be nice someone can help me configuring samba under qnx.

Don’t bother compiling go and get the binaries at ftp.qnx.com/usr/free/…
( don’t recall
the full path)

There are binaries for 2.04 and 2.07 Samba available on the Samba site.
2.07 required for Windows 2000 compatibility
Telnet in, “cd /”, then do “find -name samba*” to locate the files.

The instalation and testing of the installation are documented in the Samba
download. We have Samba running on two of our servers currently. The document
that you need to work with are “Diag.txt” and “Install.txt”. Several of the
other documents are helpful. But, the most helpful to us has been these two.
