AlterSys PLC Drivers

Is there anybody else out there using the AlterSys PLC Drivers for QNX? We
are using them for communicating with an Allen Bradley PLC 5/40E.

I am curious as to your dealings with them regarding support.

Thanks in advance
Matt

A little off-topic, but if you are using DH+, then you could also use
the SST 5136-SD card and driver. Cogent is now the official
maintainer for their QNX drivers, so I could get you going if you
like.

To answer your Altersys question: no, I have not had any experience
with them that I could relate.

Regards,
Andrew Thomas

We do use this card when we use the “Blue” hose for connection. What the
AlterSys drivers provide us is the ability to do Ethernet connection,
similar to RSLINX (I Believe) on other platforms.
