TEST...TEST

I have been using the D-Link DE660 pcmcia ethernet card it comes out of the
box as a NE2000 compatible device. After a period of use they unexpectedly
fail. When I run the “pin” command on them its no longer listed as NE2000,
“Memory” is now displayed.
Once this occurs I have not been able to fix the problem other than
replacing the PCMCIA card. I have had this happen to 6 out of 10 DE660’s
that I have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you/dlink know what is happening? Is it a h/w problem with the card?

Sorry I have no idea, and I didn’t really ask.
