I am having a problem with a new computer.
It is a Hewlett Packard. My application is having for an unkown reason.
at least to me )
I have also noted the following error.
When I am dittoing node 2 (the computer with the problem) I sometimes get
the following error
ditto: error reading ‘//2/dev/con2’ (Bad file descriptor).
I can’t switch to any console, but if I get out of ditto and then go right
back in, everything works
fine for a while again. If I ls file://2/dev/ everything is there.
Also, when my app hangs - If I slay the user off, I can get back in a work
for a while longer.
Any ideas of where to look?

This is usually a network problem, the connection was broken.
Check the output of netinfo -l for an unusual number of errors.
If you are not sure, post the output of netinfo -l and netinfo

The ls is a very short command, if you’d try coping a huge file (something
that takes very long time) you may be getting something similar to the
ditto.

I’m not following you here?

Network card, network cable, hub, switch, bad power supply.
