Net.ether2100 vs. AMD 79c973 (Ethernet controller)

Greetings, QNX people.

I would like to know if anyone has had experience using the Net.ether2100
driver with the AMD PCnet Fast III (79c973) controller, under QNX 4.25. I
notice that the QNX4 hardware support page,
http://qdn.qnx.com/support/hardware/qnx4/network.html, does not list the
973, but it lists the 972 and 971. From what I understand, the only
difference between the 972 and the 973 is that in the 973, they moved the
PHY layer inside the controller. The 973 was supposed to be driver
compatible with the 972, but in the case of Linux, AMD had to release
slightly modified drivers to bring about this compatibility. I suspect that
the QNX driver might need a similar modification. Can anyone provide insight
into this matter?
Thanks in advance.

The latest Net.ether2100 does support the 973 chipset. Do you have the
latest version of the driver?
