We have report a few problems to scitech about the ‘-B’ option slowing down
‘screen’ in their drivers. They say they have long since fixed the issue
and provided the fix to QNX for recompiling for Qwindows. When can we
expect QNX to recompile scitech and release it. My company was on the Beta
for scitech on Qwindows, we are willing to test these fixes. We do need
them desparetely.
OK, I will reply to my own message. Thanks to QNX & Scitech the new
scitech driver not only works with -B but works very well in Qwindows. I’m
not sure why (maybe acceleration features are now being used) but using
Qwindows on a Voodoo3 card radically improved screen update times. ???
