Yes I beleive pine is availabe in free section of (check QNX’s web page)
I think there are other client available as well.

I have checked pine, but did’nt find support for POP3. There is SMTP, NNTP,
but no POP3.
I can send mail using SMTP, but for reading I can access
to my mail account only using POP3 - it is a linux server.

I have got same problem I described in previous reply. For more, I doubt elm
version 2.3 is not y2k compliant.

i’d suggest to try mutt (http://www.mutt.org/). I remember compiling
it on QNX 4 two years ago (i just was curious) was no problem. I never
really tried using it, just because my all-day workstation is a Linux
box (with mutt, of course ;^) With mutt you also get IMAP, MIME
attachments, powerful scripting etc. etc. (it’s the vim of mail
clients, if you know what i mean … 8*)

I doubt elm supports pop, or at least for the version ported to qnx.

you can look for the line “incoming-folders” in your $HOME/.pinerc file,
and change to:
incoming-folders=MyFolder {pop.company.com/pop/user=me}INBOX
