ftpd memory leak found

I believe I just discovered a memory leak in ftpd. If you ‘get’ a file from a QNX system which uses ftpd as the server and then abort the transfer before it completes, 8K of memory is allocated by ftpd which is never returned or reused until the ftp session if closed. Therefore, it is possible to crash a system (consume all memory) with repeated aborted gets.

I am using Socket version 4.25G Mar 29, 1999

my ftpd is 61353 bytes dated 12/7/1998

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a newer release which I sure be aware of?
