Environment variable ABLANG

In the default installation, if one asks for the environment one sees (among
other things) ABLANG=en

What is this used for? Should it be changed for a system going to Norway? If
so, to what?

It’s an environment variable that’s used by multilingual Photon
programs to tell them which set of translation strings to load.
See the Photon docs for a more details. Unless you include
programs of your own that make use of the variable, I doubt you’d
want to change it for your Norwegian system.
