ethernet driver problem

Hello -

We’re using Realtek 8019AS chipset (NE2000 compatible) with Net.ether1000 on
Qnx4.25. The driver starts up fine and Qnx network works fine. However,
when we try to start TCP/IP with netstart Socket crashes right away. Any
ideas?

Are you running netstart from the sysinit file? If so, is there a delay
after starting the driver (sleep 1) and running netstart? If you try to
start Socket from the command line, does the same thing happen? When you
say that Socket crashes, does it SIGSEGV or does it just exit? Have you
modified netstart at all, and if so, can you please post your modified
file?

Hugh.
