For (2) have you tried adding the “-d” switch to the on command?
Two issues:
-
Is there anyway of turning off the double click (double pressure
selection on the pad area itself) feature of the current mouepad drivers?
I’ve checked out the Input options and found only touchscreen specific
options that may be useful but don’t apply to a mousepad.
-
In another application, I’ve got a 2 node system in which I startup
some
apps. on the 1st node from the second node using the ‘on -f’ command. For
years, this has worked faithfully and not been a problem. Recently, we’ve
been experiencing HUP signals on the session from which these apps are
started. I’ve been unable to trace the source, but it appears to be
related
to the remotely started commands. I have 8 in all and they were started in
rapid succession one after another. Now, to stop the HUPs, I have to delay
some time between starts. I am guessing it is network related and possibly
related to faster CPU speeds as well. If anyone has any debug tips or
comments, I would be happy to supply more information or testing as
needed.

No I haven’t. I’ll give it a try to see if it helps. Thanks.
