Does Net.ether82557 run under QNX 4.23? The QNX4 Network Drivers page at

I don’t think it was shipped under 4.23. In general, Network drivers
tend to be backwards compatible with earlier versions of Net (as long
as you don’t cross the 4.22/4.23 divide), but once you do that, you
are no longer shipping a “released” version of QNX since you’ve mixed
pieces from different versions.
Also, if you do so, you also probably want to copy back a netinfo that
matches, so that it will know how to interpret the log messages from
the newer network driver.
Hm… and you might also want to take back a traceinfo.net for the
newer driver as well…
