Hello Gang,
Can someone help me with installing QNX4.25 on with my Windows98 SE? I have
done this before using Partition Magic to make a new partition and then
installing QNX4, great no problem, however this time it’s just not working.
A key point might be that the drive is 20meg in size.
I have noticed when I boot from a QNX4 floppy and run fdisk, I can not set
the QNX partition to boot, no matter what I do, it just says NO.
Any thoughts, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Solution: QNX4 can not be booted if it’s partition is beyond the 8 gig
boundary, so I located it within the first 8gig. Windows and QNX are
friendly now.
Bada bing, bada boom. I now return you to your normal programming.

I was aware of the 1024 cylinder limit.
Who/what is imposing this 8 GB limit? Is it the Windoze loader?

Hi Bill,
From what I could see, 1024 cylinders IS 8GB, at least in this drive. I
actually used a loader from Power Quest called Boot Magic, very nice
thankyou…
