Hi,
I’m having trouble finding a hard disk attached to a Symbios 895 onboard
SCSI controller. Is there a newer version of the driver than the one I have
after Patch E, or might I need some special command line options to the
driver. After starting Fsys (I boot from the network) and then
Fsys.sym8scsi,
path 0 points to the controller, it seems, but no drives are found.
Thanks for any info,
David Sheinberg
Do you correct your problem, because i have an HP E800 server, with the same
controller, and i got the same problem.
Thanks.

Hi David,
Can you post the output from ‘show_pci -v’
Regards,
Joe
