I have just got the May 1001 QNX4 Product Suite and the V4.44 patch from
Tilcon to correct the SIGSEGV bug.
My question is do I upgrade just Photon or do I need to upgrade the OS as
well (I am currently running QNX and Photon from the June2000 Product Suite)

You should apply all new patches from the May 2001 Product Suite CD.
