GPS35

Is there anyone who has information on using the GPS35PC (a small GPS
receiver) under QNX4 ?

GPS as very easy to support, most of them have the same format “NEMA”

I suppose you mean NMEA, which is a standard ASCII format. There are other
formats more binary, such as TSIP (it might be proprietary I’m not sure).

If you only need simple info (simple means you don’t need exact measurements
of satellites data), NMEA is fine!

Have fun with your GPS.

NMEA is a “standard” format for marine GPSes. I have seen it on a few
airborne GPSes. Not all GPSes support NMEA. Some(most) do the old
ARNAV/TNL format. Check your GPS to see what data format it outputs.

What type of application is this for?
