Hi
I’ve just updated some machines from the latest product suite CD and have
found that it has upset the pcmcia in a loptop.
Previously I used
Pcmcia.generic &
The new Pcmcia.generic loads without errors but when loading Net.ether589
(for a 3com pcmcia card) I get a ‘cannot find adapter’ message. Fortunately
I have the old Pcmcia.generic and everything is fine if I use this. However
I would prefer to use the latest as I can see problems in the future if I
mix new and old - particularly as some of the nodes out in the field also
have pcmcia fitted.
Hope someone can help
Thanks

You should start ‘Pcmcia.generic -i0’. See if this works.
