Patch command for QNX

QNX Newsgroups (Archives) qdn.public.qnx4

I have downloaded the NTP archive for QNX4 (qnx-ntp.tgz) from usr/free
on quiccs. It gives installation instructions in the README file which
require the patch program. I can’t find this in QNX4. Does anybody know
where I can get a copy?

Hi Donald,

The ‘spatch’ utility (a fullscreen patch utility for QNX) should be in your
/bin directory.

your
/bin directory.

Hey Barry it’s not spatch but patch he is looking for :wink:

Donald patch is not a QNX4 utility. It’s a GNU thing, you can download it
from ftp://ftp.qnx.com/usr/free/qnx4/gnu/patch-2.1-src.tgz
