Fsys.sym8scsi upgrade?

What would it take to upgrade this driver to work with a LSI 53c1010?
It seems HP has switched to these chips on their Netservers.

Thanks

Ping, etc.

According to LSI’s docs on the chipset, is is “software compatible”
with the 896. Shouldn’t this make the job trivial?

Or should it work if we use the sym8scsis -D <device_id> thing?

Hi Richard,

You can try the -D device ID string, however I am not sure if it will work or not.
I am in the process of finding out if the 53c1010 is on our roadmap or not.

E.

Hi Richard,

What is the output of show_pci -vvv?

Thanks

Erick.
