node names

Sorry for simple question, but i cant find this in the help…

How do I name the machine node names for qnet to recognise other machines on a LAN ie

/net/[color=green]wintermute

Also, how can I see other nodes in the file manager?

If I start qnet with:

“io-net -p qnet”

then I get the /net directory but it is empty :frowning:

I can ping between machines and communicate with TCP/IP fine, so the network driver is running.

try this one :
“mount -T io-net /lib/dll/npm-qnet.so”

and I assume you assigned ‘Host Names’ in the Network tab of tcp/ip configuration ?
