Adaptec SCSI 29160

Has anyone used this before? The release notice of patch E has mentioned the
new Fsys.aha8scsi support this adapter, but I have problem to get it work.
What is the exact parameter I should use to get it run?

The Fsys.aha8scsi does work with the Adaptec 29160. I just start it with…
Fsys.aha8scsi -q fsys -n 0=scsi &

Hi,

There is a problem with the trapper that it doesn’t find the card.
If you start it manually (like Augie has) it will work fine. This
will hopfully be fixed in the next patch.

E.

I have tried it with 4.25E (patch E) but it didn’t work, so I replace 29160
with 3940W. I am not sure if we are using the same 29160 because I heard
there are several version.

The driver supports the 29160N and the 19160 chipsets. Hope that clarifies
things for you.
