QNX and DMA

Hi,
I think I know the answer to this, but my boss wants me to verify this.

Does QNX handle DMA for devices like CDROMs? We’re testing some CD ripping
and it’s going considerably slower in QNX than Windows. Under Windows,
there’s a nice pretty little DMA checkbox for the device, that when enabled
allows CD ripping to go at a pretty nice rate. Is there the ability to
enable DMA in QNX4? And since I’m already asking, how about in QNX6?

TIA,
Ron

The QNX 4 EIDE driver does not do DMA. The QNX 6 will under
certain circumstances.
