Characters displayed of /0t at the start of a program

When we start a program we get a /0t written to the terminal before our
first write to the terminal occurs. What is this?? Can it be stopped
of supressed in some fashion. We are running 4.25, Watcom 10.6 using
both termlib and ncurses.

Thanks for any insight.

What is the program?

Is it perhaps assuming the terminal is in ANSI mode when it is in QNX mode,
or vica versa?

Try change terminal emulation. ( pterm->Properties->Terminal Emulation in
photon )
