Network card compatibility

I hope someone can help. What I’m looking for is an inexpensive nics
that will be able to have QNX recognize internally and communicate with
a windows box. I’ve got the list of compatible chip sets. But does
anyone know actual cards that are working well with a windows to qnx
network???

thanks

Netgear FA310TX  They’re about CAD$40 (or USD$0 or so )

And they work on QNX 4 AND QNX 6

we’r quite happy with Intel(R) PRO/100 S Desktop Adapter (PCI). driver is
Net.ether82557. works very well through 3Com OfficeConnect Dual Speed Hub (8
and 16 ports). has been tested in a very traffic flow intensive environment.
tested configurations are: qnx 4.25 <-> qnx 4.25 (Fleet and TCP/IP), qnx
4.25 <-> Win2k (TCP/IP), qnx 4.25 <-> some linux (TCP/IP). also tested with
ICOP 1500/1510 PC/104 Ethernet Modules (Realtek RTL8019AS chipset) at 10Mbit
speed through 10/100 hub. driver was (afair!) Net.ether1000 i.e. for NE2000
compatible cards. tested both with Fleet and TCP/IP. also worked and is
working now at customer side very well. as far as i remember there were also
some PC/104 Ethernet modules we’v used under QNX4 but atm i don’t remember
chipsets they use.

personally mine oppinion: today if i have a choise i select cards based on
Intel 82557/58 chipsets. it’s not expensive and works fine with QNX4, QNX
RTP and Win2k Pro SP2.

ps: both cards i noted above were auto-detected by accordant driver
correctly without any problems.

thanks
