QNX supplies a Posix standard set of un-named counting semaphores.
For details on using semaphores and how they work, look for a general
Posix/Unix/Comp Sci book with a chapter on semaphores.
For details on the API as QNX implements it, take a look at the
docs for the sem* functions.
