ThinkPad 870XL CD-ROM Access

I have an IBM Thinkpad 870XL. I am trying to install 4.25 on it for
some testing.

The Floppy and CD-ROM are interchangable but they can not be installed
at the same time. I installed a 4.22 Diskette version of the OS that we
have here. The plan was to install 4.22 from floppy and then install
4.25 from the CD. The 4.22 installation happened without major prolem.
I have removed the Floppy and install the CD-ROM. After booting up from
the hard drive I run Iso9660fsys &, and then prefix /cd=/dev/cd0. After
a couple of minutes I get an error something about no drives found.

I have tried moving Iso9660fsys from 4.25 over but difference.
Does anyone have any suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

Is Fsys.eide running ?
Iso9660fsys requires Fsys.eide, AFAIK.
