Watcom clibs correction

We are trying to compile Samba 2.2 to meet site security requirements
but the built executable crashes. A colleague has found from the Web the
the disk_space function in clibs.lib has been built with the register
calling convention (when extracted it compares equivalent with the
function in clibr.lib). Word has it that QNX can provide a correctly
built version of disk_space.o for the stack calling library. We have
patch B to Watcom 10.6 that is failing. Can anyone tell us how to obtain
the correct disk_space file or entire clibs.lib? Our licenses predate
the CD distribution so we must access updates via the old login method.
Doing so doesn’t show anything newer than Patch B.

Thanks for any information.

Find clib3s.lib on your system. The ‘s’ means stack calling convention as
opposed to clib3r.lib where the ‘r’ means register calling convention.

Isn’t it fun to go to a convention?

I got mine from qssl several years ago.
I don’t think I can redistribute it to you but I am sure your
qnx sale rep can help you to get a copy from qssl.
