Dell Power Edge Server and QNX ok?????

Has anyone have any of the parts below in thier server, I would like to
confirm compatability.

Thanks.
Vin

Primary Controller: Ultra 3 (Ultra 160) PCI SCSI Adapter Card U3SCSI
Network Adapter: Intel Pro 100S w/ IPSEC Network Adapter IN100S
Tape Backup Unit: PowerVault 100T DDS4, 20/40GB Internal TBU w/Controller
DD4TCI

Last week I get Dell PowerEdge 2500 model
with this configuration: 1xP3 1.26Ghz, 512MB RAM, 4x36GB hot-plug SCSI HDD,
3 x 300W redundant power supply.
Here is my results…

AIC-7899 work OK - add Vendor and Device id "Fsys.aha8scsi
aha8scsi -V0x9005 -D0xcf "
All disks is connected to 1x6 backplane so Fsys see hd0-hd3 and one pu0.
There is posibility to add doughter board on 1x6 backplane to get 2x3
configurated backplane - I don’t have
it because I did’t know for this solution when I order PC.
This is good if you try to build RAID disk fileld. This week I will get ICP
Vortex RAID controler
and all disk will bee connected on this controler.
I see somewhere in documentation that this option (2x3 backplane) is’t
supported under Linux.

Intel Pro card also work ok with Net.ether82557. In start I have some
problems with speed
butt when I change IRQ-s in BIOS and add one PCI 4xRS242 card inside this
works great!!!
I don’t know if I have IPSec - I think not butt it must be compatibile
with 82557

For tape device I don’t have any info because we will use an Tanderberg
stramer unit.

I hope that this will help you!
Good luck!
