Parallel Port Driver Crashing

I am having problems with Dev.par crashing at boot.
I am using the default method of starting this driver : ‘/bin/Dev.par &’
in the sysinit file. During boot, the Dev.par terminates with a SIGFPE
at (0005:000007AC). I am using a NEAT-670EV Single Board Computer
(700MHz Pentium III). I have QNX4.25 installed with all of the patches
that I could find on the site.

I have tried about 6 of these boards, and some of them work, but most
seem to have this problem. I get this crash also when attempting to
start the driver manually.

Dev.par -p 378 -N par1 &

If there is any other information which would be useful, please let me
know.

Thanks,
Ian Todd

There’s a newer Dev.par - maybe someone from QSSL will e-mail it.
If you download patch E from QNX that will include the new driver.

Thank You,
I downloaded the patch, and it seems to have solved the problem.
Ian.
