We need several QNX 4 laptops with 1600x1200 screen resolution. Most of
the currently available laptops with that resolution use an NVIDIA
GeForce 4 440 Go video chipset or something in the ATI Mobility Radeon
family. There is a small possibility that we can find one with a NVIDIA
GeForce 2 GO chipset. We do not require any of the 3-D acceleration
features, just high-resolution 2-D.
Has anyone succeeded in running a GeForce 4 440 chipset with the Pg.tnt
driver? What about one of the ATI drivers on the Mobility Radion (7500)
chipset?
There was a thread last November about running the GeForce 2 Go chipset.
Was anyone successful at that?

I can tell just that i’v tested my NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 64MbDDR and it
works fine with QNX4.25/Photon1.14 with both svga and specially flat
graphics driver. Sure there are no 3D hardware support but it gives me
1280x1024 and higher and speed is fine.
Only one problem: with flat driver i cannot set refresh rate so it’s used
default i.t. 60Hz which is terrible for my CRT monitor. But for laptop LCD
60Hz must be ok.
ps: there are some differencec between GeForce4 and GeForce4 Go chipsets.
Don’t remember which exactly. The last one was designed for laptops.
