new pccard server and config identifier

It seems that the new pccard server from developers.qnx.com uses different
config identifier than Pcmcia.generic etc.
Ethernet NE2000 changes from 0x601 to 0x600
serial devices changes from 0x201 to 0x200 a.s.o.
The new Net.ether1000 from the package no longer works with CNet 40BC
adapter:
INITIALISATION ERROR 10
INITIALISATION ERROR 4
any ideas?

cheers, Peter

And some more info:
Dell Inspiron 7000 with 2x TI Cardbus chips.
pccard terminated with SIGSEGV at 5:00007B14 after inserting/removing a
psion dacom modem card several (5) times.
If two cards are inserted e.g. a networkcard and a modem card and the
pccard-launch for the
network card failed, the driver for the network card is spawned again if the
modem card gets removed.
is this the expected way?
