prepping HD

I know that QNX 4 has a limitation for HD size. If I have a HD that is 20G,
is there a way to tell the system to only use 8G or is it physically
impossible for QNX4?

Latest release of QNX4 has no problem running on HD >8Gigs.

That is confirmed in http://www.qnx.com/support/sd_bok/solution.qnx?1281

Thanks Mario.

If I have the latest Fsys.eide, does it have any dependancies or can I just
add it to the load. I don’t want to have to test the entire system with an
entire upgrade of QNX but I would love to have this patch.

I don’t think there is any problem using it with any version of 4.25.
As of 4.24 I don’t know. I guess you would have to test it since it
unsupported and at your own risk.

For me, the Fsys.eide from QNX4.25 worked with Fsys QNX4.24R fine.
