Phindows Help Please

I have always used this laptop (ibm thinkpad A21m win2000) for Phindows
and
prior to programing some modems I was able to connect to a qnx computer
at a
good baud rate. After I had accidently made some changes to my modem on

board, which I put back to the orginal configuration, now I have to dial
into
my dialup isp prior to using phindows to dial onto a qnx pc to establish
a
baud rate over 9600. I have done everything in windows I can think of
to make
sure the baud rate is set to 56k like it was. I have also reinstalled
Phindows. I am hoping that maybe there is something I missed or some
setting
for Phindows I’m not aware of. Thanks for your help
