Display and ethernet chipset support

Hi,

We are planning to procure a QNX comaptible notebook computer. We have
selected IBM 2652K3A with display chipset (ATI Mobility Radeon 7500) and
ethernet chipset (Intel 82562ET). Are these chipsets supported by QNX4.25/
Photon 1.13?

I can only comment on the network driver. The Net.ether82557 driver should
work with this chipset as long as you pass the Vendor and Device IDs on
the command line. I’m assuming that you have at least 4.25E.

There is no graphics driver for the Radeon chipset in Photon 1.13.
The latest Photon Beta patch contains a Pg.radeon driver, which you
should be able to put onto your system.
The driver workes with Radeon 7500 graphics chipset, however, we have noti
had an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 to try it with, so I cannot say whether it
will work correctly or not.
