Any help is appreciated

Toshiba 4020CDT, works good with a 3com 589 at 0x320 irq 7

Net.ether1000 -p320 -i7 produces initialization error 4 and 10 with the
linksys EC2T. Pcmcia.generic is
started as Pcmcia.generic -i0 & (width=16) removed from
/etc/config/pcmcia.1.

This might sound crazy, but does the card work in the first socket?
If not, please post the output from starting the Net.ether1000 driver
with -vvv on the command line.

Does your Linksys card work on any other machine or OS? The fact
that you get FEFE for the MAC address looks as though your card is
not working.

Try changing your /etc/config/pcmcia.cfg file so that you use another
I/O address other than 0x320. Try a range from 0x400 upwards.

Try changing your /etc/config/pcmcia.cfg file so that you use another
I/O address other than 0x320. Try a range from 0x400 upwards.
