Intel 82801 Network

Hi ng,

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Scenic pc with Intel 82801BD PRO/100 VM (SUSE Yast
installation told me).
On qnx4 supported hw network an intel 82801 is stated to run with
Net.ether82557.
That doesn’t work for me. Net.ether82557 tells “unable to locate adaptor”

Help appreciated

Do a ‘show_pci’ and make a note of the PCI Vendor and Device IDs. Then you
can use the -V and -D command line options to the driver, passing the
Vendor and Device IDs to the driver.

eg Net.ether82557 -V8086 -D1039 &

Thanks a lot!

I tried to give the device id in hex “0x103b”. That didn’t work.

Now its running, sun is shining, I’ll go home.

Have a nice day.
